Accor is one the best chain groups in Hotel Industry but the main issue employees are facing in it was because of Franchise system through which they provide their name (brand) to many unworthy Management people
Long hours with inversely proportional salaries
Over all Accor group is very good place to work. Work environment is superb, provide all support to employees. Internationally they care for their staff.
Working for Accor is great but as management they could give more work and life balance for the leadership section of their employees. Overall a great company with awesome perks in north america.
Working in Acccor means that you have no life as a salary manager. Also they always want you to work more 14-15 hours a day you work for 1 year no complain, you ask one specific day off because of your personal necessity. Then you will understand how much you are valued. Some European managers that have no idea how to operate in US market. They pose like as if they have a work culture, but none. Do not waste your time with this company. Just go for companies that have true corporate culture like Hilton or Marriott.

Flexible working hours but long hour working and stressful because team is sometime messed up. However, people are friendly there. Management is very flat and sometimes cannot access to the real situation happening at the bottom layer.

-Responsible of taking order's and making sure everything is correct. -Taking care of cash up daily basis. -Making sure that the customer is happy and ensuring that he will be more then happy to come back. -Taking responsibility for customer service. -Hosting and taking all the reservations and making sure all the requirement set up is done. -Working in a team. -Taking care of my team colleagues assisting and supporting. -Helping and performing extra job's when my superiors asked me for.

Poor pay package, absence of conveyance facility for the staff
I worked here and it was the best of them all because it was the closest to my house, working with my co workers became like a family unit rather because we were all so close, the hardest part of the job was maybe juggling it with college so l had to go there after college straight away.
