Don't appreciate the Management from Germany. Decision-making is often hampered by political local vs home corporate communications and hidden objectives.
Team leads and group leads bullied workers if they did not fit in and made it hard to progress One mistake and you made to feel it was all your fault when other areas should have taken some of the responsibility and not just all on one person
the work is always there overtime was never an issue BUT upper management never involved us in any issues a good portion we can take on anything for any improvement but there wasn't guidance except from supervisors who helped the techs and etc
A day at Siemens starts at 5:30am with a start-up meeting for day shift. The day becomes very busy right after that with managing all the tasks for the day and all the meetings. After 10 or so hours it's time to go home.

interesting place to work can learn a great deal if one wishes to learn-not much chance of advancement -pay was good -benefits were good-to many layoffs though-lots off overtime-many times 7 days a week for months

Group Leader positions
Everyday brings new and exciting challenges in the aftercare department at Siemens. From master plan changes and weekly output challenges to staff and weather. The work that is done here is very sensitive to time and weather, and depends very much on the entire plant for proper functionality. I have created and designed many different shift rotations and process plans to keep up with the changes in our customer market. Trialed and developed new tools and for improved performance and reduced time.
World leader in several areas, strong compensations and insurance/retirement coverage. Very aggressively targeted on performance and market-place placed a great amount of stress on employees in regards to job security and workload.
Typically our shift had the best production rates. They did pay for all of my classes/some other training. Management: cold and calculating. Diverse mix of generally good workers. Atlanta traffic was the worst part of that job. Three week vacations were the best.
