- 15+ years of experience in partner management, ecosystem development, or a related field in the technology industry
- 10+ years’ experience as a leader of leaders: leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Proven experience driving partner strategy, ecosystem growth, and revenue generation for a major technology company
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing solutions and services, including a strong understanding of the Latin America technology landscape
- Effective business acumen, including the ability to set vision, develop strategy, and deliver ambitious goals
- Communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally and engage executive-level stakeholders
- Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish and English
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: São Paulo (Brazil) or Mexico City (Mexico).
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching partner strategy and growth plans for the LatAm region to meet revenue targets
- Own executive relationships with the region’s top partners and coordinate joint investment and enablement plans
- Serve as the voice of partners in LatAm: evolving AWS programs, AWS Marketplace, ProServe, sales and partner experience
- Collaborate across AWS sales leadership to align partner initiatives with the broader go-to-market motion
- Ensure the correct mechanisms, collaboration, communication, and execution elements are in place to consistently advance the capability of our partners to deliver AWS Solutions and Value to customers and partners
- Hire, mentor, and develop a diverse team of Partner Managers, Partner Solutions Architects, Partner Development Specialists, fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates uniqueness and empowers individuals from underrepresented groups

Our organization supports 130,000+ partners globally, with the top level objective of delivering value to customers. Our partners are also our valued customers, and together we achieve success by earning their trust and establishing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. As the Director of LatAm Partner Management, you’ll be in a leadership role within the APO Partner Management team: which aligns to the sales organization by geography, responsible for determining partner strategy and sales objectives and developing the partner network in alignment with the LatAm and AWS strategies.
- Proven experience creating inclusive environments and championing underrepresented groups
- Demonstrated commitment to customer obsession and using technology to drive innovation for customers
- Ability to operate effectively across diverse cultural contexts
- Relevant certifications or education in cloud computing, business strategy, or leadership development
