Job Description
An opportunity has arisen to join Alter Domus Malta’s growing and dynamic Corporate Services Department to work on a diversified portfolio of local and foreign clients. Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- As the central point of contact for your clients, capable of identifying and anticipating possible problem areas, you will be able to accurately measure potential risks, and, therefore you will be able to offer suitable solutions to the client and satisfy their needs;
- Managing a team with responsibility to grow, mentor and coach direct reports
- You will manage the relationships with other key players in the industry, including auditors, law firms, custodians and prime brokers;
- Ownership of the day to day accounting, administration and financial reporting;
- Ownership and oversight of:
- management accounts
- annual financial statements (under IFRS, other Accounting GAAPs) and audits
- tax returns and VAT returns
- regulatory reporting
Your Profile
- You are a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 + years post-qualification working experience in the accountancy field;
- Experience in a team lead/team manager capacity
- Excellent knowledge of local financial markets, structures and regulations;
- Commitment to quality and the management of business risks with a proven track record of taking initiative and overseeing projects from start to completion.
