About This Role

As a remote Google Ads media buyer at The Worst Agency, we are seeking a skilled Google Ads PPC Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in driving the success of our digital advertising efforts, focusing primarily on Google Ads campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Twitter Ads, and other relevant channels.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Utilize various tools and techniques for budgeting, media planning, and conversion.
  • Develop testing plans to maximize investment value and traffic, and share insights with the brand, media, and creative teams.
  • Regularly update ad copy and creative elements, leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT for fresh and engaging content.
  • Conduct monthly split tests to optimize campaigns, experimenting with different ad formats, copy, and targeting strategies to improve performance.
  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing digital marketing landscape.
  • Continuously seek innovative strategies to enhance campaign efficiency and effectiveness, optimizing for smarter solutions over harder efforts.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring high-quality communication across all platforms.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to leadership and clients.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive data and client information.
  • Take initiative in problem-solving, identifying areas for improvement in PPC strategies, and proactively implementing solutions.

Essential Qualities:

  • Initiative: Self-driven to identify opportunities for campaign improvement, not just executing tasks but actively enhancing strategies.
  • Independence: Capability to work autonomously in a virtual setting, effectively managing time and meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in managing complex campaigns, strong analytical skills and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Communication: Proficiency in articulating campaign strategies and results, both in writing and verbally.
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients concurrently, maintaining a high standard of organization and confidentiality.

Primary Duties:

  • Execute comprehensive Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, ad creation, bid management, and A/B testing.
  • Analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI and meet KPIs.
  • Collaborate with other team members on integrated marketing strategies.
  • Stay current with PPC and SEM trends and best practices, applying new techniques to campaigns.
  • Manage and report on campaign budgets, providing regular updates to both the team and clients.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Google Ads and other PPC platforms
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools like ClickUp and Discord
  • Proactive work ethic, with a strong focus on delivering quality results
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an emphasis on client satisfaction
  • The ability to maintain a level of confidentiality

Job Requirements


  • A full home office set-up consisting of the following: computer, high-speed Internet access
  • Smartphone with e-mail capability
  • Computer with webcam
  • All job offers start with a 90-day trial to make sure that we're the right fit for each other
  • Remote working. This is a remote (work-from-home) position.
  • Strong English proficiency
  • Willing to work a US time zone

Additional Details:

  • This position is Full Time and 100% remote
  • Includes 2 weeks of paid leave per year
  • We offer and encourage Flexible hours – working set business hours is preferred, but if you’re proficient with communicating and getting stuff done, then we’re flexible
  • This is a 1099 contractor arrangement. If you’re not in the US just ignore this part
