We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to collaborate with numerous teams in charge of creating, implementing, onboarding, and supporting one or more of our software platforms. You will collaborate and troubleshoot issues with our data conversion team, support team, system administration team, and software development team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys automating procedures that improve the effectiveness of the entire team.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Designing, constructing, and managing workflows and processes for the various software platforms, both on-premise and cloud-based.
• Building and maintaining workflows.
• Back-up to assist the systems administration team.
• Play a major role in the validation and management of final releases.

Qualifications That Make You a Great Fit:

• 5+ years experience as a DevOps engineer, or experience as a developer transitioned to DevOps.
• Post secondary education in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with container orchestration services such as Kubernetes.
• Ability to identify processes for improvement and incorporate appropriate change management techniques.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with release management processes incorporating pre-release validation.
• AWS CDK Infrastructure as Code (TypeScript) or equivalent experience with AWS CloudFormation or similar tools (such as Terraform).
• Experience deploying and maintaining a Laravel stack using Angular (PHP, MySQL, Angular).
• Comfortable with both BASH and PowerShell Scripting.
• Understand role-based security and security best practices.
• Have used and understand version control systems.
• Worked previously using SCRUM methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
• Advanced English is required.

Additional Skills That Make You a Great Fit:

• Experience with both AWS and Azure cloud providers and building scripts manipulating Azure (PowerShell ARM) and AWS (CDK and CloudFormation). Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL is highly desirable.
• Experience with automating the building and deployment of applications.
• Understanding of building and deploying Docker containers.
• Experience automating IT administration and processes.
• Usage and maintenance of Elastic (ELK stack).
• Having used JIRA project management tool.
• Some exposure to Windows and Linux administration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R$18,000.00 - R$20,000.00 per month
